Fewer forums?

Since the forum is still pretty small, why not condense the number of forums? Having too many makes the forum look bare, while less would make it seem more active and make it more likely that new people sign up. Once the forum becomes bigger, you can always add the new forums.

Some movements I would suggest is combining the General Chitter Chatter and Hobbies (including subforums) all into one General Chat forum. Maybe just leave forum games as a subforum in that new one, since they can get quite large fast. I'd also get rid of the Holiday forum and combine all the clan forums into one (maybe make them a subforum under the general gaming forum.) I would also merge the hints and general gaming forums and try to condense the gaming forums as well.

I know it sounds like butchering the forum, but in my experience new forums tend to do better when they seem busier and as of now there really isn't a need for so many subcategories- it is easy enough to see new posts even when a lot of the forums are together.
